Francesca Filippini

Having graduated from City, University of London with an L.L.B Law (First Class), Francesca joined BLJ in 2019 as a paralegal initially as part of the Public Inquiry team and subsequently the civil litigation team, representing the bereaved and survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire in complex high profile and high-value personal injury litigation. 

After completing her LPC with a distinction from BPP in 2021 Francesca commenced her Training Contract at BLJ, during which she spent time working in the housing team at our sister firm, Foster & Foster Solicitors Limited. Francesca acted on behalf of tenants in a range of publicly funded cases including possession, disrepair, succession matters and a particular homelessness dispute with local authorities.

Francesca qualified as a solicitor in May 2023 and continues to work on the Grenfell litigation as part of our civil team. 

Francesca is a committed advocate to access to justice and is particularly experienced in acting for vulnerable clients.  She has undertaken a range of voluntary work in social welfare law, including within the Citizens Advice Bureau and is fluent in Italian, French and Spanish.
